	Petitioner must be Chilean.
	Chilean National Identification Card (Cédula de Identidad) If expired, must be requested together with passport. Cost US$ 9.
	The previous passport or Chilean birth certificate must be presented.
	Anyone under 18 years of age that requests a passport must have authorization from the parents or from the legal tutor of the minor.
	The new passport costs US$ 83 and the new ID costs US$ 9. Total Cost: US$ 92.- Payment ONLY by Money Order made payable to "Consulate of Chile" is acceptable.
	The passports are valid for a period of 5 (five) years
