Tourist Visa (single or multiple entrances) American citizens traveling to Chile for recreation, on business
or to attend conferences or the like do not need a visa to enter Chile. They
need only their valid passport and round trip ticket or a continuing ticket
to another country. An administrative fee of US$ 100 will be charged upon
arrival. A tourist card will be issued upon landing in Chile. No vaccinations
are required.

Visas are granted up to 90 days and can be extended for another 90 days. This extensions are granted by the "Departamento de Extranjería of the Ministerio del Interior" in Santiago with a cost of US$ 100. . |
